CHARITIES SUPPORTED BY JBS

 

John is especially keen to support charities that help young people. At present he is helping: 

1. The Merseyside Youth Association, www.mya.org.uk that assists disadvantaged young people in Liverpool and the surrounding area.

2. The Moorlands Community Development Project. This is a small charity that does marvellous work with under privileged young in Brixton

3. The Trinity Sailing Trust www.trinitysailingtrust.org. Young people are given week long sea training on Gaf rigged trawlers. Disadvantaged and disabled children take part in cruises April to October.

John also supports Raleigh International www.raleighinternational.org and The British Schools Exploring Society www.bses.org.uk.

John also raises funds for The Scientific Exploration Society www.ses-explore.org and the water charity Just a Drop www.justadrop.org Both these bodies do excellent work worldwide. He is also assisting The Liverpool John Moores University in the creation of a new Art and Design Academy.
